The medium of film has been changing dramatically over the years, and this change has become even more apparent with the film, Avatar. Not only is this film being shown in 3D, but it's given Computer Generated animation a whole new meaning. Take a look at the following two video clips. The first is a trailer and the second is on James Cameron explaining how they came to animate emotion in the film.What do you think of all these new advancements? 3D? CG imaging? Now, there's not just Avatar, but, as you probably already know, there's also a 3D film of Alice in Wonderland directed by Tim Burton that comes out today! Do the videos you just saw make you want to see Avatar even more or do they dissuade you from seeing the movie at all? If you have seen Avatar, tell us what you think of the movie and all the effects used? Ultimately, I would like you to comment on new film technology and whether or not you think that they are making a positive contribution to cinema.
